Who we are
Securial Group Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17541452, with our registered office at 179a Main Road, Biggin Hill, Westerham TN16 3JR. What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it) and your message.
- Job applications: your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, SIA licence details, whether you hold a driving licence and have access to a car, country of birth, right to work, next of kin details, current and previous addresses for the last five years, work history for the last five years and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Website visits: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and provide a quote: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To assess job applications, carry out screening and contact applicants: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract of employment, our legal obligations (for example right to work checks) and our legitimate interest in recruiting suitable, properly licensed staff.
- To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.
Where it is stored and who we share it with
Enquiries and applications are sent to our Google Workspace inbox by Resend, our email delivery provider. A copy of each application is stored in Cloudflare's secure storage so it cannot be lost. Google, Resend and Cloudflare act as our processors. Some of their processing may take place outside the UK, protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.
If you apply for a job, we may contact your previous employers and check your details with the SIA public register and the government right to work service. We will not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Unsuccessful job applications: up to 6 months after we make a decision.
- Records for clients and employees: as long as the law requires, typically 6 years after the relationship ends.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it. Email info@securialgroup.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Applicant terms
By sending an application to Securial Group you confirm that:
- the information you have given is true and complete, and you understand that false or missing information may lead to your application being rejected or any offer being withdrawn;
- you are happy for us to carry out screening in line with BS 7858, including checks of your identity, right to work, address history, employment history and SIA licence;
- you will provide original documents, such as your passport or share code and SIA licence, when we ask for them;
- sending an application does not guarantee an interview, an offer or work;
- you consent to us storing your application and contacting you about it, as set out in this notice.
